Creating Excitement in Your Life through Business Ownership.
Today’s article is on the subject of creating excitement in your life through business ownership.
I start with a statement that I made in the Wall Street Journalyears ago:
I have written before on this general topic, largely because of the positive issues around business ownership, including: tax advantages, a shot at earning more than a wage when you’re successful, the elimination of the fear of being fired or let go, and so many others. Webster’s dictionary defined excitement as “a feeling or situation full of activity, joy, exhilaration.” And, I’d add one other thing – it sure isn’t boring.
Given this definition, I would offer that you owe yourself some excitement. A life in business for yourself means you are surrounded by activity and can experience joy as you focus on many paths to self-reliance and stability, such as the joy of accomplishment when you control your own financial well-being, the joy of building a business that helps you express your creativity, and the joy of having employees to lead and with whom you can prosper. These are just a few.
Creating excitement in your life is healthy; it is a core element to happiness.
Important Issues
Take time to write down some of your goals with regard to security, as well as happiness in both work and play. Loving and being loved by others is on my list.
Think about the excitement in your life now, and think about others that you see who appear to be happy in business.
You will find that by creating excitement in your life through business ownership you can have a solid path to financial freedom and security. When people are focused on accomplishment, using creativity and a good plan to owning their own business, excitement will be the key energizing factor.
Strive for that excitement by moving forward with a business opportunity. Give it a shot.
I talked today with a person who works full time and tried a few side business ventures. On the third try he found a framework that he really enjoyed. He made a nice accomplishment fee and is now excited about other deals he has put together.
A very smart person who I admire kept telling me, “Doing nothing gets nothing.” That was his slogan. He is happy today because he always has some financial excitement in his life. Give business ownership a try, that’s my motto and something I always focus on in Frank’s Words of Wisdom articles. Let business excitement be part of your happiness.
All the best,
